Aloha-
In response to your many inquiries, I will be holding a real estate class September 9 to 20, 2013 at the Maui College.
Classes are held Monday through Saturday of the first week from 9 to 4:30. There is a take-home midterm on Sunday. The second week class is from Monday through Thursday 9 to 4:30 with the class final held on Friday from 8-12. If all goes well, the PSI state licensing exam will be given on Saturday for those who pass the class final. Students who do not pass the class final must retake the course (it doesn't have to be from me) and pass it in order to be eligible to take the licensing exam. Once you pass the licensing exam you may apply for an active real estate license by seeking a broker with whom to associate. According to the Maui College Spring catalogue the price of the course is $725 for tuition and $155 for materials.
Besides the six and a half hours of class daily you should spend about four hours at home to prepare for the next day's class. You will be lost unless you put in all the time required. And it will be a waste of money if you don't pass. If you can put aside these two weeks to prepare for something that will change your life, isn't it worth it?
Interestingly, even though there is a lot of new vocabulary and some of it sounds dry and boring, I have not had a single person say that the class was boring. Difficult, yes, but boring, never. So sign up if you like a challenge. We really do have fun but you have to discipline yourself.
Please call 984-3231 to register. Class fills up fast so register today.
Hope to see you then!
Mahalo, Carol
